Airis

# Paper Installation

"Airis" is an artwork that captures the moment of petals lifted by the wind and ascending from the ground. The name "Airis" combines "Air" and "is," symbolizing air's visualization through petals. This installation, resembling a "wind sculpture," features around 15,000 petals creating dynamism through LED lighting, projection, and interaction.

The production process involves using 3D animation to simulate the real behavior of fluttering petals, accurately replicating each petal within the space based on CG data. Handcrafted nuances and volume are then added to enhance the realism and aesthetic appeal of the installation.
