Light Book - Hokuetsu Seppu - 2022

Hokuetsu Seppu, meaning A Record of a Land of Snow, is a late Edo-period book vividly describing daily life in the snowy provinces in Niigata Prefecture as Echigo-Uonuma and Akiyama-go.
By turning over the pages, the viewer releases pictures and characters portraying the life of old times to arise and float enchantingly in space.
