表参道ヒルズのクリスマス「OMOTESANDO HILLS CHRISTMAS TREE 2025」のツリーを、LUCENT + EMISSIONが手がけました。

高さ約10メートル、多面体プリズムと、光のリングが軽やかに舞う「プリズムツリー」を館内吹抜け大階段に設置。「普遍性」を象徴する光のリングと球体、「多様性」を意味する光学プリズムの多面体が織りなす、アーティスティックな光のツリーです。

ツリーには、LUCENTによるモーションシステム「Kinetic Light Vision（K.L.V）」をリング状に設置。48個の球が音楽とシンクロして光の輪を描き、ツリーと一体となった新しい光体験を生み出します。アワード受賞や万博でも注目を集めた「K.L.V」は、東京初の展示となります。

本体を構成する約1,000個のプリズムエレメントには、独自開発の光学ポリカーボネート素材「Prism Ray®」を使用。光がダンスするように、ツリーの周りを軽やかに浮遊する球体のモーションが、幾重にも重なるプリズムの光の反射や屈折を包み込みながら、空間を輝くプリズムカラーに彩ります。

＜特別演出＞

20分ごとに、光のモーションとサウンドの特別演出を上映。サウンドデザイナー・黒瀧節也氏の音楽に合わせて光のリングが舞い、白く輝くツリーがカラフルに変化します。

The Christmas tree for “OMOTESANDO HILLS CHRISTMAS TREE 2025” has been created by LUCENT and EMISSION.

The 10-meter-tall “Prism Tree” features a multifaceted geometric structure made of about 1,000 prism elements, along with floating rings of light. Reflections, refractions, and subtle sphere motions fill the space with vivid, shifting light.

Around the tree, LUCENT’s lighting system “Kinetic Light Vision (K.L.V)” is installed in a circular formation. 48 spheres synchronize with music to draw rings of light, creating a unified and captivating visual experience. Recognized internationally through award-winning installations and presentations at world expos, “K.L.V” makes its first appearance in Tokyo.

< Special Performance >

Every 20 minutes, a short light-and-sound performance set to music by sound designer Setsuya Kurotaki transforms the shimmering white tree into a colorful display.
