アーティスト松尾高弘は、大阪・関西万博 関西パビリオン滋賀県の空間アートと映像ディレクションを手がけました。

LUCENTが開発した、450個の光る球体が浮遊する世界初の空間アート装置 K.L.V（キネティックライトビジョン）と、滋賀県の風景を映し出したアーティスティックな映像作品が融合し、ひとつの作品として体験できる空間インスタレーションを展開。 光る球体が空間に浮かび上がり、曲面スクリーンの映像世界と重なりながら、訪れる人々の感覚に強く訴えかけます。 ビジュアル・フィジカル・サウンドが融合するこのインスタレーションは、滋賀の本質に触れるような、これまでにない没入型の感覚体験を生み出します。

Light artist Takahiro Matsuo created the spatial art and visual direction for Shiga Prefecture’s booth at the Kansai Pavilion of Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai.

Developed by LUCENT, a groundbreaking spatial art device called K.L.V (Kinetic Light Vision) – featuring 450 glowing spheres suspended in midair – merges with artistic video works depicting the landscapes of Shiga Prefecture. This interplay creates an immersive installation that could be experienced as a single, unified work. The glowing spheres float in the space, echoing the curved projection screen that reveals a captivating visual world, and leave a lasting impression on the viewer’s senses.
 
Combining visuals, physical motion, and sound, the installation offers an unprecedented immersive sensory experience that resonates with the essence of Shiga.
 
Experience a new approach to immersive light environments and the fusion of spatial art with cutting-edge technology at Expo 2025 in Japan.

A light installation “The Creation” (Suzhou, China) by artist Takahiro Matsuo won the top award “Entertainment Lighting Design of the Year” at LIT LIGHTING DESIGN AWARDS 2024.

LIT LIGHTING DESIGN AWARDS is an international lighting design award run by the Swiss-based organization 3C GROUP, which was created to recognize the efforts of talented international lighting product designers and lighting implementers. The awards celebrate creativity and innovation in diverse fields such as architecture, entertainment, and product design, and recognize outstanding lighting design internationally, viewing lighting as both an art and a science.

The Entertainment Lighting Design of the Year Award celebrates visionaries and experts who elevate the world of entertainment through their outstanding lighting designs. Spanning diverse roles like lighting directors, lighting designers, set designers, stage managers, lighting technicians, sound engineers, producers and directors, scenic designers, cinematographers, gaffers and visual effects artists, these professionals craft the mood and ambiance of spaces with great precision.
